Summer is Here!

We thought we would try this new way of keeping in touch with relatives and friends, even if they live just across town. We have some friends who live in Quebec and we love reading their blog and keeping up on what is going on in their lives way up north.

You are probably wondering what that thing is at the top of our page. Some of you may have figured it out. It is a Koala Bear. We took at trip to the Zoo yesterday specifically to see the Koala bears. Do you think they ever woke up? No, so this is the best picture Hannah could get of them.

Well, we are very proud of Hannah. She made it through a very tough fifth grade year with terrific grades. It seems like just the other day we were celebrating the last day of school and now it is July 4th. The summer is flying by very fast. Hannah has already been to Music Camp at our church, LifePoint, Art Camp at Kitley, and she is getting ready to be in her dad's Drama Camp, and "oh yes", rehearsals for "Fiddler on the Roof Jr." For those of you who don't remember, that was the show Tom and I were in when Hannah was born. She made her stage debut when she was 3 weeks old as a baby bundle. Now she is playing the "Fiddler". The directors said she represents the "spirit" of tradition.

Hope you enjoyed our first attempt at a blog. I'll try to keep it updated. Actually, Hannah knows alot about computers now and she can help me.

Everyone have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!! Also, Happy Birthday Billy! (that's my brother)
