A Tribute Just Because "There's a Reason"

These are pictures of my Mom when she was younger and one below before she first got sick. It's hard to believe that it will be 10 years since mom has been gone. I put these pictures together in a frame and gave them as a Christmas present to my brother and neices. I included the poem below. I found it sometime ago in my mom's things. I had always thought she had written it. Mom was always writing things down. When she did that, usually she would put who wrote it. This didn't have an author. Well, thanks to the internet I was able to Google it and came up with a couple websites. I guess it was on a greeting card. She must have like it well enough to copy it down, so I thought it was a good thing to share. Mom always had a way with words and liked to write poems. Who knows, maybe someone took it from her. ;-) It is a poem about how we should accept whatever God gives us because "He knows the Reason".

There’s a Reason

For every pain that we must bear,
For every burden every care,
There's a reason.

For every grief that bows the head,
For every tear-drop that is shed,
There's a reason.

For every hurt, for every plight,
For every lonely, pain-racked night,
There's a reason

But if we trust God, as we should,
It all will work out for the good,
He knows the reason.
