SPRING BREAK Part 2!!

During spring break this year there was something very newsworthy going on in Indianapolis. The Extreme Home Makeover show was building a house here. Hannah had started watching the show and would even come home after school and watch reruns on the CMT channel. Needless to say, when she heard they were building here she wanted to go. We got up really early on Thursday morning. We read that on Thursday at 2:00 they would be handing over the keys and moving in the furniture. We went to the zoo earlier in the morning and then back to the makeover site. We got back a little before 2:00, but they were running waaayyy behind. They had to pave the street right in front of the house before they could film. I don't think it was in their plans. We heard the paving company saying that they did'nt find out that they were doing the paving until around noon. I think all of the big wigs of the company were out doing it. I heard one of them say that he was getting too old for this. :-) Really they did a great job in the short amount of time that they had. So, we waited and waited and waited until finally around 6:00 they were ready to hand over the keys and move in the furniture. It was a long wait, but we thought it was worth it.

Pauley. He was so nice. He took a couple of kids back to see the golf course and basketball court in the back yard of the house. Another little boy had asked if he would take him back too, but he had gotten in trouble for taking the kids back there so he gave the little boy his hat.
