Tom and I were not sure what we were going to do this summer. It would be the first summer that I had not done the medical transcription. I thought I was going to have to get a job or we had thought about babysitting some "older" kids. Well, one day the phone rang and it was the father of some of the kids Tom has worked with in shows. He is, I think, the assistant principal at Roncalli High School. Anyway, he wanted to know if Tom would be interested in teaching a month long drama camp in June with the end production of Godspell Jr. Tom was like "sure", so the principal from Roncalli called and it was set. We ended up with 22 kids and the show was great. We went through some rough times, but it all worked out in the end. The other nice thing was that we got paid for doing it. The pay should pretty much take care of what I didn't make during the months of June and July! Thank You God! He always comes through for us even when we think it is hopeless. We were able to meet some great people too. It was a long month, everyday from 9:00 to 12:00 for four weeks, but it was worth it. Hannah had a great time too. We are so thankful that she has taken an interest in theatre and wants to follow in her mom and dad's footsteps. She definately came out of her comfort zone for this one. :-)
