The Good "Ole" Days of Summer

It just wouldn't be summer at the Haydock house unless we put up the slide at least once, which we have had it up at least five times already. This was one of the times. Summer also brings our good friends, the Billingtons, here from Quebec for their annual six week furlough. Below you will see Hannah and Sam enjoying the slide and posing for the camera. Hannah said "my mom is taking pictures she is going to put them on the blog". They don't have their picture taken often do they? :-)

It also wouldn't be summer at the Haydock house without our good friends, the Raffas. One Saturday both sets of kids were able to get together. Below is the photo shoot Hannah took. I don't see any of Hannah or Madison. Madison must have been avoiding the camera. :-)

Joel on the other hand decided he liked it better inside. Since he loves guitars it seemed only fitting that he wanted to play Guitar Hero. He waited for his turn at the WII and kept telling everyone "I'm going to play Guitar Hero". He finally got his chance, but it was a little more difficult than he thought. The picture below is him playing the game he opted for instead, Shrek. He did really well on that. I had a good time too, watching him. He would get so excited when he got one of the characters he was supposed to. Way to go Joel!!
